I Have The Worst Experience From BuyAndShip

My experience with the Buy&Ship forwarding service was a mix of convenience and disappointment. I ordered a product worth around $1000 from eBay and decided to use Buy&Ship to handle the international shipping. The process was smooth at first, and the package arrived in the Philippines without any issues. However, things took a turn when Buy&Ship partnered with NinjaVan for the local delivery. Unfortunately, NinjaVan lost my package, leaving me frustrated and worried about my investment.

To my relief, NinjaVan promised to fully refund Buy&Ship for the lost package. However, when I reached out to Buy&Ship to inquire about my refund, I was shocked to learn that I would only receive $100. The reason given was that I had not purchased insurance for my shipment, and according to their policy, uninsured items are only eligible for a maximum refund of $100, regardless of the item's actual value. This was a hard pill to swallow, especially since the item was worth $1000.

I tried to contact Buy&Ship multiple times to understand their refund policy better and see if there was any way to recover more of my loss. Unfortunately, their response was consistent: I would only receive $100. This experience left me feeling let down and cautious about using forwarding services in the future. It also highlighted the importance of purchasing insurance for valuable items, even if it adds a little extra cost to the process. Moving forward, I will definitely consider insurance to avoid such disappointments again.
