My Horrible Experience With BuyAndShip and NinjaVan

I recently purchased a $1,000 item on eBay, which was shipped to the Philippines via NinjaVan. Everything seemed fine until the parcel went missing upon arrival. While NinjaVan assured me they would refund the seller the full $1,000, my experience with Buy&Ship, the service I used for international shipping, was far more disappointing.

When I contacted Buy&Ship about the missing item, they informed me I would only receive $100 because I hadn’t purchased shipping insurance. This left me confused and upset. Why was I, the customer, only getting a fraction of the item’s value while the seller was fully reimbursed? It felt unfair and raised serious concerns about Buy&Ship’s practices.

This experience taught me a hard lesson: always purchase shipping insurance, even if it adds extra cost. It also made me more cautious about the services I use for international shipping. Losing nearly $900 is a tough pill to swallow, and I hope others can learn from my experience to avoid similar frustrations.

To anyone considering using Buy&Ship or similar services, let this be a warning: always opt for shipping insurance and research the companies you trust with your purchases. Stay vigilant and take the necessary precautions when shopping online, especially for international shipments. No one wants to go through what I went through.
